Things are going very well at the T3 Cobras! Every player on every COBRA team in grades 4-10 found their way to the playoffs somewhere this weekend. The T3 Elite staff has the girls in grades 4-7 settling in very nicely after the merger and playing at a very high level this weekend in New Jersey.
The Cobras in grades 8, 9 &10 went to Maryland for a weekend of tournaments and fun. The Cobra Kai roadshow included parent banquets, bar party at the Turtle and success on the field. After a great showing at the Primetime Showcase, Day 2 was Championship format at the lax Clash. The "laxDads" went right to work on the "girls from the game", sending the competion home early. The day ended up with a CK trifecta, all 3 squads in the championship game.
Team 20' had some trouble handling a very well coached Lax Maniax team from Florida on day 1 at Primetime only to meet again on day 2 in the finals. Coach Drab & Hientz made some adjustments to the game plan that had them rattled for most of the game resulting in a well deserved and hard fought championship.
Team 21', undefeated this Fall, put another Tournament championship on their record over the Maryland based challenger. The team is playing with the Cobra Kai winning formula of believing in each other and high level of confidence in the system. Strong play from D- Block using the new "Eagle defense" limited shots on goal forced alot of turnovers. Strong aggressive play by the Mid Lines who made smart decisions with the ball and exercised a new level of patience and maturity.
Team 22' are on the verge of something special, the team is playing strong, smooth and dynamic. Undefeated in pool play, they faced a challenger that they beat earlier in the morning only to come up on the short side of a 6-4 battle in the Championship game. Great job Girls!!!
