Congratulations to Cory, Tallmadge Athletics HOF member.

⚾ Introducing the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 ⚾

Today, we're proud to introduce Cory Hindel.

Cory was a key contributor and team captain for multiple district, regional, and state championship teams, including the 2002 State Championship team. His outstanding play earned him numerous All-League, All-District, and All-State honors.

After beginning his collegiate career at Wake Forest University, Cory continued at Kent State University, where he served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons. During his time with the Golden Flashes, Kent State won three Mid-American Conference Championships, advanced to three NCAA Regionals, and earned multiple national rankings.

Following his college career, Cory was selected in the Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago Cubs organization.

Join us in congratulating Cory on this well-deserved honor and celebrating the entire Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2026 during Induction Weekend.
