Congrats to our hot bat on the weekend with 3 homeruns on the day!

#41 Kyra Orr - 2 run shot, 3 run shot, and a Grand Slam! She earned Most Valuable Player for the team on the day.

She was a key part in our offensive success over the weekend!

We went to Valley this weekend in search of different competition. Played some new teams we knew nothing about, one being from the Gulf Shores area. Can't say enough about this group. They are coming together nicely! Undefeated on the day and got the job done. Good job ladies and keep it up.

1st tournament of the season and we went in with only an idea of what we might have. With a 50/50 ratio of new girls to returning girls, our ability was unknown heading into the Fall Southern National tournament and these ladies did not disappoint. Eight players hit a .429 or higher, with a team average of .538 on the day. Our pitching gave up 3 earned runs, 8 hits on the day and racked up 22 strikeouts! We were solid defensively with only 3 errors on the day, and allowing 2 runs to cross the plate. In summary, we gave up 5 runs in the first game, then we shutout everyone else the rest of the day and went undefeated on the day bringing home the gold. Great things to come for this bunch so stayed tuned. Congratulations ladies! You really made our job easy yesterday. Next up Gardendale, AL to go play some elite teams!
