Hi Everyone I’m Mrs Angela, the Owner and Director of DEDA and I’d like to personally welcome you to our dance home and year 24. I’m so excited to be back in the studio and to be backed by an extremely talented staff. I can not wait to see all they accomplish with our dancers this year. Here at DEDA we pride ourselves on being a safe place where everyone is seen. I am proud of the dance home that’s been built here at DEDA and our dance family is one amazing village. Whether this is your first year with us or you’re a returning family, Welcome Home! My door is always open to my students and their families. DEDA fam please welcome back student assistant Cameron 🖤❤️

Hi everyone I’m Cameron and I started dancing at the age of 3,and have been a DEDA dancer for the past 8 years.
My favorite dance style is Pointe but I also enjoy Jazz. At DEDA I love that we get so many opportunities to do fun things. I’ve been able to dance in NYC and most recently at Disney World. Being a member of the performance teams means I also get to perform at various events which I really enjoy. DEDA is a family, it's a second home and everyone here is so kind and supportive.
I’ve been a student assistant for 3 years and I love it! I love seeing the little girls so happy and watching them grow and learn in dance. I also love learning and watching how Mrs Angela uses her own ideas and techniques to help them understand moves on their own level. I think it’s very cool.
My future dreams are to attend college and join their dance team and study criminology to become a criminal profiler.

Please give a warm DEDA welcome back to our Assistant Director, Mrs Holly 🖤❤️

Hi, I’m Mrs Holly. I’ve been a part of DEDA since 2009! I started out as a student and a few years later started teaching. My favorite style of dance is jazz. I love bringing the sassy, fun, and new trick visions I have to life. All of these girls hold a special place in my heart. I love being in the studio between classes and listening to the laughter fill the rooms as the girls have their chance to chat and catch up about their days. I have 2 amazing kids, Wyatt and Olivia, who love being able to come to the studio at times and spend time with the girls. Wyatt plays all the sports and helps keep us busy and Olivia is entering year 3 at the studio herself as a student! I am looking forward to this year at DEDA, and can't wait to see what all of our instructors and dancers bring to the stage. As I always say to the girls when leaving "love you, bye!" 🫶🏻

Hi! My name is Jennie. I’ve been a part of the DEDA family since I was two years old. While at DEDA I was a featured soloist in pointe, tap and jazz and have studied all the various styles of dance. I have just returned to Tallahassee from Orlando and am a licensed cosmetologist. I recently decided to go back to school for either study dental hygiene or sonography.

Please give a big welcome back to student assistant Alexis. We are so happy to have her helping us instructors for another year ❤️🖤

Alexis has been dancing since she was 5 years old and has been a part of DEDA for the past 7 years! She loves all different styles of dance, but hip-hop is her absolute favorite! Whether she’s learning a new routine or performing on stage, Alexis loves to bring the energy and especially loves to bring it to the stage with her facials!
After 7 years at DEDA, the studio has truly become her second home. She loves the friendships she has made over the years and the memories she has created with her dance family. One of her favorite things about being at the studio is getting to dance with the littles. She loves being someone they can look up to and hopes to be a positive role model for them while helping them build their own love for dance.

After high school she plans to attend college, and continue dancing while she’s there. After college, her dream is to become an E.R. doctor, helping others and making a difference in people’s lives. No matter where life takes her, she hopes dance, friendships, and the memories she has made at DEDA will always be a part of her life. ❤️🖤

Hi! I’m Kristina, and I’m excited to be joining the studio as a dance teacher. I have over 15 years of dance experience and currently dance with the FSU Golden Girls. I’m passionate about teaching and helping dancers develop their technique, confidence, and love for dance in a positive and encouraging environment.

Happy Birthday Miss Kinleigh and welcome to another dance year at DEDA 🖤❤️

Hi, my name is Kinleigh! I have been dancing for 15 years now with DEDA and this is my 2nd year teaching. I teach a variety of classes such as jazz, hiphop, tap, ballet, and adult classes. My favorite style of dance is pointe. I love to dance and to teach at DEDA, it is like my second home. I am in my Senior year at Tallahassee State College in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. I currently have my AA degree and I am working towards my Bachelors. I can’t wait to see what this dance year has in store for everyone! 🫶🏻
