Hello to our Ability Family and everyone else reading this. I am so sad to notify you that Guy Chelton passed away earlier this afternoon. I was in touch with his wife, Barbara, this morning. She was able to give him a big hug from all of us before he passed. In short, Guy was 101 years old. He worked out with us until he was 100. Unbelievably, he was able to use 20-25 lb dumbells for bicep curls and shoulder presses! He never used a walker or cane in the gym. Out of thousands of people, Guy was LITERALLY the most incredible and mind blowing client I have ever had the fortune to train. He also was a wonderful family man, a World War II vet, and a Physician with worldwide accolades. Aside from that, this post wouldn’t be complete without me personally telling all of you what amazed me most about Guy. He was the exact opposite of what you would think of an old man that grew up when the world experienced sexism, homophobia, racism, and antisemitism would be. He loved everyone and made a point to make sure they knew it. It was awesome to watch.

We will miss him so much. Please say a prayer for his wonderful wife and kids.
Sometimes life is short, and sometimes it can last 101 years. So glad Guy had time to find and join our gym family. 🙏❤️

2026 LIFT AND DRIFT Cruise photo dump. Over 80 Ability clients with trainers cruised to the Bahamas. We all had BLAST! Phil and I feel so blessed to have such an AMAZING gym family. I really can’t think of any business that could pull off what we all just were a part of. You guys are the BEST!!! Thank you Susan Stafford and The Event Architects for all of your planning and hard work.
I think we may have to do this again in a couple of years. People are already asking to sign up. 😜
