# 1. Is sleep 🛌 routine
How do you feel with a lack of sleep? Magnify that with a child that can’t control their emotions 😂
Set down with your child when you have nothing going on….time to call a family meeting!
Side note…my kids love it when I do this!
Discusss what they feel would be a good time to got to bed. When do they fee like they can get up, have breakfast and get ready for school without feeling rushed. Add travel time to school and you all agree on when to get up.
When they go to bed it’s not lights out fall asleep. That doesn’t work for adults and it won’t for kids either. Just time to wind down, give them 30 minutes of this then go back in for good night talk/prayers/plans ect.
When they feel like they are a part of it they buy in to the decision.
Start your bed time and wake up time 1 week before school starts.
