The Rock hosted its 2nd Annual Free Summer Golf Clinic for Kids July 12-28, 2016. Twelve Talladega-area youth participated in the clinic, which was held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30.

During the clinic, participants learned golfing skills and techniques and practiced proper golf course etiquette and good sportsmanship. They also enjoyed an awards banquet on the final evening that featured free hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks for all participants, their parents, grandparents and siblings.

Awards went to:
Blaine Cooper, 1st place in A flight and MVP 10 and under;
Camron Sirmon, 2nd place A flight;
Kaleb Wikle, 1st place B flight;
Noah Thomas, 2nd place B flight;
Dalton Perley, Most Improved;
Shelbi Phillips, Best Driver;
Brady Sparkman, Best Chipper;
Jaxson Thomas, Best Putter; and
Collin Sirmon; MVP 11 and over.
All participants received a free one-year membership to The Rock.

"The Rock" Talladega municipal golf course is holding its 2nd Annual Free kids program for ages 7-17. July 7th registration, starting July 12th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm til 7:30pm with the finale being a tournament and banquet on July 28. Due to rain the next couple of days into Friday night! We are cancelling this Friday night golf event! The next Friday Night golf will be May 20th!

Something new! This year we are renting out the golf course mon -thur $250 4 hr block and fri - sun $350 4 hr block. We are also renting the club house for $250 4hr block!

NIGHT GOLF is back starting April 15th we will have our first night golf event of the year 8pm til midnight! This year we are only scheduling every 3rd Friday of the month but if you are interested in playing any other day of the week it needs to be scheduled with a 5 person min. or $100.
