I am hosting a bike sale at the Talkeetna Gear Shop in Talkeetna this weekend. I have been a collector of vintage bikes for years and also have many items left over after liquidating a bike shop. This sale has a lot of vintage mountain bikes which make great daily riders, there are road bikes and some electric bikes priced way below retail. I have kids bikes still new in the box, accesories and some great bike car racks. We are opening up the storage container for this weekend only-now is the time to grab a great deal on a bike or bike accesory. Friday through Sunday. Details on the flyer.

Turkey Day Weekend Sale! New Fat Bikes, New Nordic skis, lots of Nordic boots and poles too. Smokin’ deals on new holdover bikes from this past summer-great gifts for your loved one, yourself or your kiddos. Cruisers, balance bikes and even efficient folding bikes for your airplane. We will be open Friday Nov. 26 through Sunday Nov. 28 from 10-5 each day. We also have bike, ski and snowshoe rentals. After this weekend we will be closed for inventory and will re-open on December 12. If you need service work done, studded tire switch-overs, etc…drop off by Friday and will be ready on Sunday

HUGE DISCOUNTS on complete bikes and REALLY REALLY BIG DISCOUNTS on all accessories. Sale starts Friday, Sept 3rd at 10AM and ends on Monday, September 6 at 5 PM. See you there! We will also be giving discounts on pre-orders for incoming bikes this Fall (Hurley Electric bikes and Diamondback mountain bikes).

I am so proud of my heli mtn bike tour guests today. Our initial plans were stalled out by Mother Nature so we hit option B…1 step above their experience level and 10 steps of s**t show above what any of us expected. Mud, then a little trail and then more mud and then around the next corner, yep mud again. Smile-grit your teeth and push through it. Suffer Fest accomplished.

Heli biking-pretty rad! Heli biking with the raddest dog ever-Mille Francs-well that’s priceless. Helicopters, Epic Views, bicycles, dogs and grizzly bears....oh, and lots of mud. Need a ride? Need something picked up? Need to deliver something? Give us a call-or just wave us down if you see us. We offer pedal taxi services in the Talkeetna area and we have also been contracted to deliver food from Mimi’s Haus of Cheese. Our taxis are electric pedal assist. With the assist, getting up to the lookout or the Talkeetna Lodge is no problem. Call or message the taxi line at 907-203-6213 to arrange in advance.
