Mark your calendars—one of Talkeetna’s most iconic weekends is happening December 5–6, and you won’t want to miss a single moment! From festive lights to beloved traditions, this year’s Winterfest is packed with community fun, live music, and classic Talkeetna charm.

Here’s a look at what’s happening:

🎄 Friday, December 5
• 5:00 PM – Commemorative mug sales benefiting communities affected by Typhoon Halong
• 6:00 PM – Tree lighting in Village Park
• 6:10 PM – Parade of Lights on Main Street (decorate your vehicle & join in!)
• 7:00 PM – Mr. & Mrs. Claus at Denali Brew Pub with gifts for the kids
• 7:10 PM – Bachelor meet & greet at the VFW
• 9:00 PM – Jerry Wessling Band at the Fairview Inn

❄️ Saturday, December 6
• 11:00 AM – Winterfest commemorative mug sales
• 12:00 PM – Wilderness Woman Competition on Main Street
• 7:00 PM – Talkeetna Bachelor Ball & Auction
• 10:00 PM – Nothing But Trouble at the Fairview Inn
• 11:00 PM – Late Night Breakfast at The Roadhouse benefiting Talkeetna Elementary PTA
