Tahoe Floats is a small business in Truckee and North Tahoe. We are committed to the community where we live and do business. As business owners, we are concerned for our friends and neighbors, especially the kids that relied on the school lunch program for one of their meals, employees who temporarily no longer have jobs, and seniors who have been advised to stay home.
That is why Tahoe Floats has decided to donate 100% of the profits from the sale of their retail items to the Sierra Community House Hunger Relief Program (formerly Project Mana). The Program delivers pre-packaged, non-perishable boxes of food to residents in our community.
We spoke with the Sierra Community House to find out how we and members of our community can best support them. Karin forwarded us this message from their executive director:
We desperately need support and appreciate all the offers to help. Here at Sierra Community House, our Hunger Relief program can source and purchase food much more inexpensively than the average person. When food is donated, we need to allocate staff to pick up the donation (this is often requested) and then sort the donations. We are moving to a home delivery system this week and this is taxing all of our resources: time, money, staff. If you would like to make a donation to either Sierra Community House please consider a monetary donation. I assure you every penny is going to the good of the community. If you'd like to donate to Sierra Community House, this is our website:

To help with the efforts of the Sierra Community House, we have set up two links on our website, www.TahoeFloats.com. One is to donate directly to their website and the other will bring you to our Amazon retail shop where you can purchase a tank, T, or sweatshirt and we will donate 100% of the profits to the Sierra Community House Hunger Relief Program.
