Our tournament run came to an end in the semifinals against a very talented team from Utah that went on to win the championship. We had them on their heels for much of the game, but a few costly errors at key moments made the difference. That's baseball sometimes.
What an incredible week out west! We would highly recommend the Reno Baseball Nationals tournament to any team. The event was extremely well organized, the weather couldn't have been more beautiful, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking—a completely different experience from what we're used to back east.
We hope all of our families made unforgettable memories and enjoyed every minute of the trip. Wishing everyone safe travels home... except for a select few who are keeping the adventure going with a stop in Vegas! Have fun, travel safely, and thank you all for making this such a memorable week. ⚾️❤️
Today was an emotional one. Lots of 😭
It just hits differently when you know it's the last time. The final out. The last ride together. The end of youth travel baseball and the beginning of the high school journey.
Six years ago, what started as a dream between Ty and Nikki became something so much bigger than we ever imagined. The Stallions weren't just a travel ball organization—they became a family. We started with one team in 2020-2021 and grew from 9U all the way through 12U, blessed with the opportunity to coach incredible young men alongside amazing volunteer coaches who poured their hearts into this program.
We always wanted the Stallions to be different. Every coach volunteered their time. No one was ever paid—not even Coach T. We were fortunate to have incredible sponsors, unwavering community support, and without a doubt, the best fans around. More importantly, we wanted every player and family to leave with great memories, lifelong friendships, and a love for the game.
From day one, our goal wasn't just to build better baseball players. It was to build a family. We wanted these boys to learn, compete, grow, and have fun doing it.
This 13U-14U group embodies everything we hoped the Stallions would be. They started as a simple AA team and, through hard work, commitment, and believing in each other, worked their way up to the Majors. We never had to recruit outside players, borrow kids for tournaments, or replace players with someone "better." We stayed loyal to the boys who believed in our mission, and together they proved what hard work, trust, and heart can accomplish.
Am I proud? More than words can express.
Am I sad? Absolutely.
Watching this chapter come to an end is bittersweet. These boys have grown into outstanding young men, and while baseball brought us together, it's the memories, friendships, and family we've built that will stay with us forever.
As Stallions 14U takes its final bow, we're filled with gratitude for every player, every parent, every coach, every sponsor, and every fan who believed in us over the last six years. You helped make this journey unforgettable.
This may be the end of Stallions 14U, but it's not quite the end of the Stallions. We'll be back this fall and spring with our 12U program for one final chapter, hoping to make the same kind of impact on another group of young athletes.
Until then... thank you for believing in us, thank you for being part of our family, and thank you for six unforgettable years.
We'll see y'all later. ❤️
