Join Big Blue Adventure for the Tahoe City Swim, part of the Sierra Open Water Swim Series and one of our incredible events taking place during the Adventure Sports Week Tahoe lineup.

The Tahoe City Swim - which you can participate in by joining the 1/2 mile, 1.2 mile & 2.4 mile swims, will take place on June 29th.

The Tahoe City Swim is staged in historic Tahoe City and features the beautiful, clear and clean water of Lake Tahoe!

Join Big Blue Adventure on Saturday June 29th for one of our favorite (and core) events of Adventure Sports Week!

The Tahoe Off-Road Triathlon celebrates the beauty of our natural environment and takes into account of all of Lake Tahoe's excellent terrain, trails, and stunning blue water!

The swim occurs in one of the clearest, cleanest, and deepest lakes in North America, Lake Tahoe. Tahoe City is also home to some of the area’s most treasured mountain biking trails. The bike course features single track and double track, fields of wildflowers, and breathtaking Sierra views. The races start and finish is at Commons Beach on the shore of North Lake Tahoe!

Are you getting excited about the 2024 Adventure Sports Week Tahoe events? We are too!

Today we are highlighting one of the most popular events - The Burton Creek Trail Run, part of the Trail Running Series.

The Burton Creek Trail Run takes place on a beautiful, fun and challenging trail system within Burton Creek State Park in Tahoe City, CA. Choose between the 6K, 12K, or Half Marathon.

The course features miles of single track through pine forests and high sierra meadows and to top it off, Burton Creek drains the runoff from Mt. Watson into Lake Tahoe, so you'll hear the creek often as you run!
