Founded in 1925, Tahoe Yacht Club ranks among the oldest boating associations in the West, enjoying a reputation for its hospitality, friendly atmosphere, and enviable lakefront location with inviting year-round calendar of events. We are pleased to partner with the Concours D'Elegance to maintain the boating history of Lake Tahoe, and to work with Tahoe City Recreation to provide a Youth Sailing Program in our community.

The grills were firing, the burgers and dogs were flying, and crews were fueling up for the season ahead at tonight’s OTB Kickoff Party. 🍔🌭⛵

The dock talk is done, the boats are rigged, and now all eyes are on tomorrow’s OTB #1. The anticipation is killing us—we can’t wait to get racing!

What a day in Meeks Bay! ☀️🌊

TYC’s Raft Up brought together a whopping 16 boats for an unforgettable afternoon on the water. With club-provided canned cocktails flowing, members spent the day swimming, hopping between boats, and enjoying great company in true Tahoe fashion.

A huge thank you to Randall Thomas for coordinating with those who needed help getting onto a boat to join in the fun, and to everyone who joined us and made this casual event such a success. We’re already counting down the days until the next raft up! 🚤🍹⚓️

🌿🦒🐆 What a wild night at TYC! Last Friday’s Jungle Party had members embracing their inner safari spirit with leopard prints, tropical shirts, jungle-themed décor, and plenty of laughter.

A special thank you to hosts Lynn Fetter, Laura Weeks, and Heidi Bensley for creating such a fun and festive event. The food was fantastic, the outfits were creative, and the smiles say it all—everyone had a roaring good time!

A huge thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who help make TYC such a special place. From events and races to club operations and everything in between, the club simply couldn’t run without the time, energy, and dedication of our amazing volunteer community.

This year’s Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was filled with great company and a delicious meal catered by Melanie Jackson — a wonderful evening celebrating those who give so much to the club.
