Happy New Year to you all. And now that the new year is here, that means we are less than three weeks away from beginning the umpire training classes. The classes are designed for 0-5 years experience, but anyone may attend. Here is the curriculum for Tahlequah. The BA classes will be the same curriculum except compressed into two Saturday sessions.

As we prepare for 2025 and beyond, USA Softball of Oklahoma is seeking self-motivated individuals for various positions on our staff. We need an individual to serve as the Assistant Junior Olympic (JO) Commissioner. Also needed are JO District Commissioners, Adult District Commissioners and District Umpires-in-Chief. Local Commissioners and UIC’s are needed as well.
If you are interested in any of these positions, please email a statement of interest for desired position to [email protected], a duties & responsibilities sheet will be sent. A softball resume will be required before an interview is granted.
For JO positions, we would like resumes by 1 August, to have interviews, via zoom, during the week Aug. 5th. We hope to have the positions filled by Aug. 18th.
For Adult and Umpire positions, we want resumes by 18 Sept., for interviews the week of Sept. 23rd, hoping to have positions filled by October 1st.
