Attention family and pacers and cheerleaders including Car campers or people staying over night at Eagle Bluff that are not renting a campsite

PLEASE GO BY OFFICE AND COMPLETE A WAIVER.

If you’re staying overnight to support or cheer a racer on you need to complete a waiver.

If you are popping up a tent anywhere you need to go to office and sign waiver and get tent permit

Weather Information Email went out

Dear Pumpkin Holler Participants,

We are racing!!! All race distances for Pumpkin Holler on Saturday, October 18 are still a go! We’re keeping a close eye on the weather and want everyone to stay informed and safe.

Here’s what to expect if it rains or storms:

The race will continue in rain.

If there is lightning or severe storms at the start, we will delay the start in 30-minute increments until it is safe to begin.

If storms develop after the race has started, and you do not feel safe you may need to contact your crew to pick you up, if you choose to stop or seek shelter.

Your safety comes first.
You are responsible for deciding whether you want to start or continue the race. If you do not feel comfortable, you are not required to run—no one will pressure you to race in unsafe conditions. If you want to complete the race virtually instead please email [email protected] with First and Last Name and race distance. We will switch you to virtual and mail your packet to you after you email us your results via email.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe and ensure a great event for all!

The Pumpkin Holler Hunnerd race is held annually in Tahlequah Oklahoma. The race course includes scenic views of the Illinois River and Nickel Preserve. Race distances include 10 mile, 25K, 50K, 100K and 100 miles.

Oh my gourd! Who is planning on doing the Great Gourd Challenge???
Who even knows what that is? Where did the name even come from? What prize am I gonna get this year for doing an extra hill???
So many Great "Gourd" questions.....
What we can tell you is this.. you have to be doing a full loop of the course, you have to do it on your first loop and it is not as hard as one might think but maybe that's kind of like saying "the course is relatively flat!" LOL

Bathtub Rocks is another one of those "Iconic" spots on the course! No matter what your method is to cross it, it's always a good time!!!
Could be because of the aid station right before you cross and the ample amounts of "brave juice" they usually have out there! LOL
