Today, the NYLA family pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We especially hold close the memories of the lacrosse players, coaches, and fans who were lost that day. The spirit of our game is built on community, resilience, and looking out for one another—values that shone brightly in the heroism of that fateful day.

To our young athletes: Today is a reminder of the power of unity and the strength found in supporting your team, your community, and your country. We will never forget. 🇺🇸🥍

Register your player by this Saturday, September 12th at 12:00 PM to lock in their spot and guarantee a FREE practice pinnie!

Here are the details:
* 👥 Who: Boys & Girls in grades 1–8
* 📅 When: Every Friday until November 20th
* ⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
* 📍 Where: Ouellet Park (back mini fields)
* 💰 Cost: $50 per player for 11 sessions
* 🛡️ Gear: Equipment is available to borrow if your player needs it!
* ⏳ Deadline: Saturday, 9/12 at Noon!

Let's get ready for a great season of skills, drills, and fun on the field. 🙌

Norwich Youth Lacrosse extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and teammates of the Stonington Youth Lacrosse player, Torren O’Grady, who tragically lost his life yesterday.

Please leave a light on and a lacrosse stick on your front porch as a tribute to a young life taken far too soon.

Let every lacrosse stick and porch light remind his family that they are surrounded by a community standing beside them.
