Game 2!

We battled pretty good in the 2nd half, but ended up falling 24-19 in the end, not too bad for putting all this together around 8:00 last night, no practices, and most of the kids not playing together before!

For anyone wanting to watch your local 7-9 year old kiddos get their first taste of AAU action (a team dropped out and we scrambled to field a team to fill in last night/this morning), we are scheduled to play at 11:15 am and 2:00 pm today at TC! No practice? No problem😂

The Taft Express will be entered into a co-ed 7-9 year old AAU tournament that is being held at Taft College tomorrow. We weren’t expecting to have a team in this age group at this point, let alone throw ourselves into game action or a tourney this soon with zero practices, but when duty calls you answer!
