Putting myself out there***
Picture on left start if my journey. Right is current. 21 days ago I decided to try something new. I started making my own food, I havenβt had any alcohol, and I am working out one on one with someone who specializes in injuries. See I needed knee surgery LONG time ago, in January I was told to stop doing the things that would hurt my knee more. Which was pretty much everything. I scheduled my surgery and then Covid happened. You know the fact I couldnβt run or do things on my knee, so I did what everyone else did... drink all the time. So not only did I gain because of my knee injury, but because of Covid. So finally I got the call to get my surgery. Pretty much 6 weeks on my ass.. I did things, but I couldnβt do much.
Finally, I connected with Sabrina. Not only does she specialize in working with injuries, but I get meal plan and we work a lot on the mental mindframe. Which for me the mental work is the hardest. She watches out on my posture, hip placement, and making sure I am even with my knees. I do way less weight... and not as many reps as I used to. I always have to remember not to push myself to much. I am after all only 3 months post surgery. And everyday I hurt. You know the saying, no pain... no gain...
I have added hot yoga into the mix aswell... which I love very much. Can you believe I spend an hour not talking!
With my food I always tried to cut carbs, now I eat them everyday. I donβt starve myself.
I still have a ways to go... I need more strength and muscle for my job!
My next challenge is going to be going to Vegas for my sons girlfriends 21st bday next week. I think I have a game plan!
