🚨 WASHINGTON STATE SHARK ALERT 🌊🦈
This isn’t your typical Pacific Northwest headline…
Recent tracking data has confirmed the presence of great white sharks moving along the Washington coastline, with activity recorded near the outer coast and waters west of Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia.
Meet the visitors making waves: 🔹 KAI (15FT) – cruising northbound, hugging the colder Pacific currents
🔹 ORCA (16FT) – moving steadily along the outer coastal waters
Both sharks are tagged and actively tracked, showing natural migration patterns — but let’s be honest… hearing “great white activity” this close to home hits a little different 😳
Out in the open ocean? That’s their territory.
But when those tracking lines start creeping up the map toward familiar places… yeah… people start looking at the water like it just changed personalities.
Meanwhile across Washington: 🌲 Coastal towns are suddenly a little quieter
🌊 Beach walks come with a side of “just scanning the waves real quick”
👀 And someone, somewhere, is still saying… “It’s probably fine.”
Officials say this is normal seasonal migration behavior and there’s no immediate danger to the public…
…but that hasn’t stopped everyone from side-eyeing the Pacific like: “Respectfully… you can stay out there.” 😭
Stay aware. Stay informed.
And maybe… just maybe… don’t be the farthest swimmer out today.
