Box Lacrosse is the modern form of the game that was invented back in the 1920's by Canada's own Paddy Brennan.

Paddy was a field lacrosse player and referee from Montreal that grew tired of all the pauses in play due to the ball going out of bounds. To fix this problem he took lacrosse into an indoor arena and began experimenting.

From that experimentation we have the game we play today and are excited to bring to Tacoma for all to enjoy!

It is our pleasure to introduce the first member of our Coaching Staff, Offensive Coordinator, Chris Gerke! Coach Gerke is a Veteran from the ranks of the Marine Corp and has transitioned to the Fire Service serving as a Lieutenant and a Fire Academy Instructor in South King County.

Coach Gerke joins us with 15 years of lacrosse coaching experience. Including the founding of two Varsity programs at both Bethel and Orting High Schools. He continues to grow the creator's game in the South Sound as the Vice President of South Sound Youth Lacrosse (SSYL).

We are confident that, under Chris Gerke's leadership and guidance, our organization will build a strong and cohesive presence on and off the floor.
