I received the following message from Shannon Lewis, John Paramore’s sister this weekend regarding John’s memorial:

“We will be celebrating John’s life on Saturday, July 18 from 2pm to 6pm at the Lynnwood Elks Lodge located at 15128 Hwy 99, Lynnwood. John was a talented man, gifted artist and story teller. Please feel free to come & share your memories as we honor & celebrate John’s life.

If you are able to attend, please drop a note in the comments to let us know.”

It’s with deep sadness that I announce that longtime TS Member and ardent supporter John Paramore has passed away. John was a longtime member of Seattle Outboard and for many years edited the SOA Pit Previews and made it one of the finest racing club newsletters ever seen.

John was a talented graphic artist, an amazing writer, raced inboard, outboard and electric boats, and at one time was an animal trainer for Disney Studios…yep, a lion tamer.

John’s contributions to TS and APBA racing will be missed. No doubt that I write this, he and brother Will are sitting on the shores of Lake Paradise, having a fervent argument about how to make their Polaris powered 350 hydro go faster.

Thanks for everything, John.

Welcome to 2026! it’s now time to renew your membership for the upcoming racing season.

Like last year, you can renew online, using VENMO as your payment form! Just send your $5 dues for a racing membership, or $2 for a non-racing membership to us at . We will mail your new membership card to the address we have on file. If you have moved over the past year, or would like us to send it elsewhere, please fill out a new application and mail your application with payment enclosed to the address on the application. As always, we accept checks and cash for membership as well.

📣TENTATIVE 2026 Region 10 Race Schedule

Our preliminary race dates for the 2026 season are now available!
This schedule includes all known Region 10 events, plus several out-of-region races of interest. Out-of-region dates are highlighted in blue on the graphic.

Please note that all dates are TENTATIVE and subject to change as clubs finalize permits, water availability, officials, etc. Updates will be shared after the next region meeting in February.

If you have questions about specific events, categories offered, or volunteering opportunities, please reach out to the hosting club directly.
