13 years ago, I started an environment. I have dedicated my blood sweat and tears to my own athletic career within and for that environment. I have loved every moment of that journey even when I didn't necessarily like some of the individuals, lol. They were still my people.
Blood Iron Barbell is closing Dec 31. One of the hardest decisions of my life. I felt like I was turning my back on everything I have done for the last 13 years. Then I went to visit Strength Warehouse 315 today.
Marcus and the power group, as well as many of my members are relocating to Wyatt's gym. I went over to check it out. Wyatt and Hellen had this amazing surprise for me ... they made me see that although I am selling a building, the ENVIRONMENT is alive and well.
It is obvious Wyatt also cares about his members more than just the 'business'. He has a space and setup that definitely made me feel at home. BUT ALSO he gave me the gift of including my passion forever within his walls. It doesn't matter if you are trying to lose a couple of pounds, get stronger for your sport, or just look good naked. The environment is what nurtures the motivation and dedication. Wyatt and Hellen nailed it.
