Congratulations to Marcus Ho on taking 3rd place in Y10 Men’s Foil at the Motor City SYC!

Marcus has had a very impressive beginning to the season. He continues to work hard and improve, and we hope he can keep this great momentum going!

A great weekend for East Coast Fencing Club, with our fencers competing at tournaments across the country!

🥈 Marcus Ho — 2nd place in Y10 Men’s Foil
🥉 Marcus Ho — 3rd place in Y12 Men’s Foil
🥉 Adam Yu — 3rd place in Y12 Men’s Foil
🥉 Charles Lee — earned a bronze medal at the Air Force ROC in Colorado after competing in two events
⭐ Dalynn Huang — 5th place in Y12 Men’s Foil and Top 16 in Y14 Men’s Foil
⭐ Joshua Oh — 6th place in Cadet Men’s Foil and Top 16 in Junior Men’s Foil
⭐ Yizhi Zuo — Top 32 in Y14 Men’s Foil

Great start to the season at our first competition—the Trick or Retreat ROC/RJCC!

Derrick Zhai finished 8th in Division 1A Men’s Foil after fencing some really great bouts all day.

Ryan Zhao took 2nd place in Cadet Men’s Foil after some great bouts throughout the day!

Congratulations also to Thomas Lee, Jolene Chan, Charles Lee, and all our other fencers who competed and fought through some very close bouts. Great job by everyone—we are proud of you all, and this is only the beginning! 🤺💪
