Edible round up from Outdoor Retailer 😋 I went to the show as Tina of Bead by Bead Adventures but, of course, I am also Tina of Quarter Way Inn and always on the hunt for new stuff for the resupply shop! And I found some goodies!

On Trail Bars Good, clean ingredients with more than just peanut butter and chocolate options: the blueberry sample was the best thing I tried at OR!

After the hubbub of PCT DAYS we had a slow morning in Cascade Locks. After breakfast, we finally got ice cream (why it closes so early we’ll never understand!). We took a stroll to the now-deserted Thunder Island, where we ran into the First Family of Fun and Functional aka Jolly Gear .

We stocked the cooler (aka a Rumpl blanket) and then we retreated to Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. Two years ago, when I went to PCT Days as a volunteer, I walked from Cascade Locks to Timberline Lodge. Driving was a lot easier but a little less fun, even though we did get to cheer for dozens of firefighters as we drove by them.

We admired the art, took a swim, and even went on a quick 4 mile hike in the morning - with our coffee - and took some product shots. I am absolutely enamored with the history of Timberline Lodge. It was a WPA project and is proof that when a government wants to do good works for its people, it can.

I am so thankful for my family for coming out and helping this little entrepreneur go after her dreams! They got a crash course in thru-hiker culture and were sports throughout - even if someone* got a little frazzled at times.

*The someone is me.

Woweewowwow, Y’all! I could not have asked for a better time at PCT DAYS 😍 It was hard to imagine, but day two was even more fun than day one!! Thanks to everybody who stopped by the booth, said hi, shared a story, bought some jewelry, took a bribe 😉, and spread the word throughout the festival! My heart is so full. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ❤️

As a business I have a much smaller and rather obscure selection of music to use for reels. So I love when a search for my reel’s topic returns an absolute banger like this one! Can’t really understand all the words, but the vibe comes through: do what you can with what you have. And I have a laminator. 👍
