What did you think about eSports before you joined?

I thought it would be a cool experience to try out since I loved gaming.

Did you feel welcome when you first came out to an open lab?

Yes I did feel welcome.

Do you think it that it made your high school experience better?

It 100% made my high school experience better.

Do you think your life after high school has been positively influenced due to something that happened in SHS eSport? (Friends made, emotional growth, and/or scholarships?

Yes, my life after high school was positively influenced due to SHS eSports considering I made friends and met the person I am dating.

What did you think about eSports before you joined?

eSports sounded amazing before I joined. I played soccer and didn't compete but I joined the group.

Did you feel welcome when you first came out to an open lab?

It was very accepting.

It has influenced my life after highschool as I am looking for colleges with esports teams as of now.

What did you think about eSports before you joined?

When I first joined eSports I felt immediately accepted and welcomed by everyone, it allowed me to make many new friends in which I may have not ever gotten close with outside of eSports.

Do you think that it made your high school experience better?

During the time I joined I was struggling with a lot of personal struggles, such as mental health and school burnout, however esports gave me a space to forget those struggles for a while and make everlasting memories. I definitely believe it made my high school experience better, even if it was only for my last semester.

Do you think your life after high school has been positively influenced due to something that happened in SHS eSport? (Friends made, emotional growth, and/or scholarships?

Even now as I am in college I still carry the memories and friends I met within esports with me, and has helped mold me into the person I am today. If I could go back to that last semester of high school just to experience the time I had during eSports, I would.

This year's first open lab will be Thursday (12/14) in Mr. Mosley's lab 161 after school until 5:30. Any students who would like to learn League of Legends or Rocket League or hang out are welcome.
