There was a challenge issued at the end of the match to where Statik X now Has to face Biscuit in a street fight fans bring the weapons (no knives, Glass tubes or blades) this will be the semi main event for the Venom Backyard Hardcore title

Let’s talk REALITY in independent wrestling 👇

Everybody says “support indie wrestling”… but what does that actually mean?

Most independent shows cost anywhere from $2,500 to $7,000 to run.
That’s paying talent, the venue, the ring, refs, security, and promotion.

Now do the math…

If the average ticket is around $20:
👉 125 fans = breaking even (LOW budget show)
👉 200 fans = breaking even (mid-level show)
👉 300+ fans = finally making a PROFIT

And the truth is… a lot of shows only draw 50–150 people.

That means promoters are:
• Losing money
• Barely breaking even
• Or paying out of pocket just to keep wrestling alive

Meanwhile, big companies like WWE are charging more than ever for tickets and streaming… and fans are spending their money there.

So when you see a local show with:
• Lower production
• Smaller venues
• Or even struggling in certain areas

Just know… it’s not lack of passion.

It’s lack of SUPPORT.

If fans consistently showed up and we hit 200–300 people every show, you’d see:
🔥 Better talent getting paid
🔥 Safer, professional security
🔥 Bigger venues
🔥 Higher quality events

Indie wrestling doesn’t survive without the fans…

It THRIVES because of them.
