Hard to believe how four years have flown by! While Pop, Charlie, big Pop-Pop has been spending his time in Heaven with some of the best people, we've been down here reminiscing about our memories of him. 😇
Here's a fun memory from 2015 of Pop hanging out with Lizzy's giant teddy bear. Since Pop was always Pooh bear, this is a great memory as we think of him in the heavenly Hundred Acre Woods. 🥰🐻🧸🌲
Now he is joined by all his first family--his sisters are all with him now. Praying for a beautiful celebration of homecoming today. 🙏

It's hard to believe how time flies. How those moments you remember just pass you by. But in the 2 years and 7 months since Charles passed away, we've added some really cute great grandkids to the family. ♥️

A happy Thanksgiving to all! The Hoke family voted for which animal to adopt in honor of Pop, and while the Polar Bear gave up a real fight, the Grizzly Bear was the final winner!

Happy 🇺🇸 Fourth of July 🇺🇸 folks! Today we celebrate our freedom in this country and honor the sacrifices that brave men and women have made for us so that we can celebrate.

A big shout out to Pop for being one of the most patriotic young fellas we've ever known. We miss you, buddy! But that fireworks show must be pretty good up there in Heaven! 🎆🇺🇸 Love ya Pop.

Pop knew he had another great-grandbaby on the way before he headed home. We all had a wonderful time at Katie's baby shower celebrating little Olivia Nicole Buchanan and her much awaited arrival into the world!

Happy Mother's Day! Went to go visit Pop for Mother's Day after church, where he was certainly missed. He helped raise some strong mommas! Now Poppa Smurf gets to celebrate with the mother of his children and his own mom!
