"151 Gold played in their final tournament at Navy Pier. We never really focused on wins and loses this season, we focused on goals that were set for each athlete, they worked on improving not only just the fundamentals of the game, but their personal development and mentality in handling so many difficult situations. Our team fought through sickness, loss of very close loved ones and injuries. Some Girls played positions they’ve never played before, our setter stepped up and became a setter, she’s never set before! Our DS and right side were hitting middle in the final tournament and they rocked it! These girls worked so very hard every practice and tournament. I couldn’t be more proud as a coach. The improvements from day one of practice to this weekend was the success and coach hopes for. They all have a future filled with volleyball! Love you girls so very much and look forward to seeing you all at Tryouts in July!’"
