Big changes ahead for me next year. I knew this day would come, and sadly it’s here. The time has come for me to focus on my future, and my goals moving forward. Last spring, I acquired my real estate license and have begun managing some rental properties. In August, I took a new job working for an electrical contractor and am in the process of becoming an IBEW union electrician. My work schedule next year will be very busy, and I will have many more responsibilities. I still plan to do some racing, but it will be on a limited basis. I want to thank all of my incredibly generous sponsors for their support, many of which have been with me from the very beginning. I will continue to represent all my sponsors at future races and social media posts. Since I will not be giving racing my full attention, I will not be seeking sponsorship for next season. Raced at Echo Valley MX in Brookston, MN this weekend. I raced 4 races and ripped the holeshot in all four. Unfortunately I couldn’t hold off their district champ and ended up 2nd in each race. The track was perfect and I was very happy with my riding. Thanks to my awesome sponsors.

Raced in the District 14 State Championship at RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan today. Broke my axle in the first lap of practice, but was able to get it replaced in time for my first race. Ripped the holeshot in moto 1 and held on for 2nd place. In race two I got a bad jump off the start and had to fight my way up to 5th. Ended up with 4th overall on the day and I’m very happy with that. Thanks to my awesome sponsors.

Raced the Briarcliff National in Ohio over the weekend. I came away with a 9th overall in 450B and an 11th overall in open B. I got 2nd in my first 450B moto which was my best ever finish at a National event. Thanks to my awesome sponsors.

Raced the Sunset Ridge National in Walnut, IL last weekend. The weather was perfect and the track was tough. This weekend the track was the roughest I’ve ever seen. Once again the level of competition was deep, and the gates were full. Saturday’s first race was Open B. I was involved in a pileup after the start and bent my front end up. Quad was hard to hold onto after that but I salvaged a 15th. Dad got the quad fixed for race two which was 450B. I got a good start and and came away with a 7th. Sunday’s first race was Open B. I had a bad gate pick due to my 15th place on Saturday, which led to a poor start. I managed a hard fought 14th. Race two was 450B. I got a decent start and came away with a 10th, which gave me an overall of 8th. I’m happy with how I rode and glad to come away from this one without any major issues. There is a couple week break now so I’m going to continue to ride and improve. Thanks to all my great sponsors.

Sunset Ridge practice day. Great weather and perfect track. Can’t wait for the National race there next weekend.

Raced in my first National event last weekend in Crawfordsville, IN. The weather was great and the competition was fierce. There were 26 riders in 450B and 22 riders in Open B. On day one I got two great starts and finished with an 8th in 450B and 6th in Open B. Day two did not go so well. In the first race I was hit from behind at the start and flipped my quad. By the time I got going again I was 30 seconds behind pack. I finished in 20th. In my second race a rider in front of me tangled with another rider and flipped his quad. I was stuck again and was 30 seconds off the pack once I got going. I finished in 17th. I felt really good and the quad ran great, but my results were not what I was aiming for. I’ll be racing the next National at my favorite track Sunset Ridge in two weeks. Thank you to all of my great sponsors.

My first race of the year was a success last weekend in Minnesota. I competed Saturday in Open B and got two second place finishes for a second overall. Sunday I raced the same class with the same results. I felt really good and the quad ran great. I’m excited to get back at it next weekend. Thank you to all of my great sponsors.
