The WRV Trap Team Annual Banquet is on October 10 this year at the Greene County Fairgrounds! Join us for a evening of games for great prizes, good food, and better company!

As a club-based team, we rely heavily on the support of local businesses and community members to help offset the costs associated with participation. The funds from this event will help with expenses of ammunitions, targets, safety equipment, jerseys, competition fees and travels to competition.

We have decided it would be easier to sell tickets online this year. Less hassle of trying to find someone to get them and the money goes straight into our account!

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our page, team parents, or even team members! We hope to see you there!

If you know someone that would like to support the WRV Trap Team but cannot attend the event, there is a monetary donation section under the ticket link. We are also looking for donations for the event as well, such as silent auction and door prize items.

Well the 2025-2026 Trap Season is officially over!

In order to shoot at Nationals in Michigan, you had to shoot an average of 20 out of 25. We decided to take a team of 5 up and 4 of them wanted to shoot as individuals as well.

Practice went well on Thursday and the Team Qualifier was on Friday. We all have good days and bad days but we are still proud of how they performed on Friday. Scores were 95-94-89-85-82 which placed them 154th and you had to be in the top 80 to qualify for the finals. Even if we shot the scores we did at state, we would not have made it. We all went to Dave & Buster's for some relaxation and gaming!

Saturdays Individual Qualifier was good as well but only Ashlyn was able to qualify for the finals. They take top 400 shooters. Ashlyn shot 96 which placed her 310 Overall and 26th Female . Alex shot a 93 which placed him 611 Overall and 565 in Men’s. Remy shot 92 which placed him 798 Overall and 729 in Men's. Dylan shot 89 which placed him 1084 Overall and 968 in Men's. We ended the night at High Caliber Karting and Entertainment for Go Karting, Axe Throwing, & the Rage Room!

Sunday Ashlyn shot a 96 which placed her 198th out of 1752 shooters. She also placed 16th Best Female out of 259. She was struggling with shoulder problems at the State Competition. So glad Brandy at Jewett Sports & Occupational Health could work her in between the competitions. The day Ashlyn left for Michigan she found out she had a double ear infection.

We are very proud of everyone on this team. We had personal bests, new shooters that ended the season MUCH BETTER than how they started. We are looking forward to next year!

Thank you to the parents and community support we have received this year, it does not go unnoticed. We are forever grateful!

Thank you to Xtreme Grafix for always designing our team jerseys and shirts.

Thanks to Mark at Goose Pond Lodge & Retreat -Business Page for allowing us to shoot.

State Competition Summary!

We placed 3rd after a hard fought battle with North Miami and Boonville! We have always had a good battle with these teams. Boonville has been in the Top 3 for the last 4 years and North Miami has been in the Top 3 for 2 of them. We hated that we didn't get our seniors a state championship for all 4 years of high school but we are very happy with a Podium finish.

This year, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd was a difference of 3 clays. Our team tied with Boonville but their Colton Carroll shot a 100/100 giving them 2nd place. Congrats to him because I don't believe I've seen a perfect shot in the 5 years we've been attending state.

Alex Ball shot a 50 Straight, Re*****on Beatty shot 2 (nonconsecutive) 25 Straights, and Harris Reetz shot his first ever 25 Straight.

Individual Scores:
JR Varsity (Female)
-- Audelia Garwood - 7th Place (71)
-- Reese Drogich - 9th Place (68)
JR Varsity (Male)
-- Harris Reetz - 11th Place (85)
Varsity (Female)
-- Ashlyn Inman - 4th Place (89)
Varsity (Male)
-- Re*****on Beatty - 3rd Place (98)
-- Alex Ball - 8th Place (95)
-- Jaxon Latimer - Tied 31st Place (90)
-- Tristan Bedwell - 35th Place (89)
-- Avery Ball - 36th Place (89)
-- Brayden English - 38th Place (88)
-- Dylan Edmondson - 39th Place (88)
-- Beau Mauder - 55th Place (85)

There were 198 total shooters and 16 different schools at this years competition. Now it is time to prepare for the Nationals Competition in July at Michigan.

As always we are forever grateful for our sponsors, parents, and supporters throughout the season. Thank you to Mr Walton for coming to support the team!

Thank you to our sponsors that always continue to support us! We cannot do this without you!
