Our Sweeny 12U boys came out ready to battle and left everything they had on the field, taking the Game 1 win in the District Championship series! 💙🖤

Now it’s time to finish the job.

📍 Tonight’s Game 2: 6:00 PM in Boling!
🏆 If Sweeny wins tonight, they are your District Champions!

If West Columbia takes Game 2, a winner-take-all Game 3 will begin 30 minutes after Game 2. Remember, this is a double-elimination tournament, so it all comes down to tonight!

Let’s pack the stands one more time and be LOUD for these boys! They feed off your energy, so come out and help bring that District Championship back to Sweeny! 💙⚾️🐾

🏆 DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP TIME! 🏆

Our Sweeny 12U All-Stars are headed to Boling tonight to take on West Columbia in the District Championship!

📍 Boling Little League
🗓️ Game 1: Monday, June 22 | 7:00 PM

This is a best-of-three championship series. Both teams enter the championship undefeated, and it will take two wins to claim the District title!

⚾️ Game 2: Tuesday, June 23 | 6:00 PM
⚾️ Game 3 (if necessary): 30 minutes after Game 2

These boys have put in the work all season to earn this opportunity. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

💙 Sweeny, let’s pack the stands, wear your blue, and be LOUD from the first pitch to the final out. Every cheer, every clap, and every voice matters.

🏆⚾️ These boys are headed to the District Championship!

The Sweeny 12U All-Stars took care of business tonight and are bringing home the Area Championship! Every game they’ve shown grit, heart, and determination, and tonight was no different.

One more step. Battle for the District Championship! 💙🤍

This is how the bracket currently stands with the Wharton vs Tidehaven game under protest as of now. As soon as District 18 Staff receives further guidance on how to proceed with the protest from the Little League office in Williamsport, PA in the morning (Sat. June 13), we will update this bracket and post the outcome.

Our Sweeny 8U All Stars left it all on the field this tournament.

Tonight they fought hard and won the first championship game by 2 runs, forcing a winner-take-all second game. With a quick turnaround, they battled through every inning and came up just 2 runs short in the 7th.

These boys played with grit, determination, and heart from start to finish. While the outcome wasn’t what they hoped for, they have so much to be proud of. The growth, teamwork, and fight they showed throughout this tournament was incredible to watch.

We are beyond proud of every one of these players, coaches, and families for representing Sweeny so well.
