Last night was Eddie 3rd and final open race for the season. He did great with what we had. Finished p9 in a pretty good field of great modified drivers. We knew we were down on power with our new Pettit SK motor but made the commitment to run these races and support our home track. Mike Pettit makes great power and our little SK motor did very well with many motors with 100+ more power than ours. Eddie got his feet wet with open modified racing and we will be back next year with a new power plant!

We can’t thank bill fenton and Fenton family dealerships enough for making these 3 races happen for us. They are great people and we hope tho work with them again in the feature! Also a huge thank you to everyone else that helps every week.

Brian brought another really fast car to monadnock for Eddie. He set fastest time in time trials but with the invert would stat p7. With a 50 lap race we wanted to make our way to the front pretty quickly but still save for the end. With 15 laps to go we had a restart Eddie lined up p2 outside and drove his way to the lead an never looked back. He scored his first modified win at monadnock but his 4th of his career. We can’t thank everyone enough that support him and make this happen every week.

Kenny and the guys at Spafco brought us a really fast car right out of the box. Going into the day we just wanted to get laps and gain experience. We were in the top 10 for speed in practice and ended up putting it 6th in time trials. Our car was great but we just were under powered with our SK engine. We had a great day and gained experience. We can’t thank all who help us out enough.

As Saturday is getting closer, we are excited to announce that Eddie will be making his first open modified debut at his home track, monadnock speedway. at this time we would like to express our appreciation to Bill and Fenton family dealerships for coming on board for these three races at monadnock. We are excited and honored to have Fenton family dealerships on our car. We also can’t express how grateful we are to Ken Barry, Tyler Barry, and the whole team at Spafco they are always coming through for us no matter how many hours they have to work .  Every project we have ever had Kenny and the Spafco team do we know it is gonna be the most beautiful piece on the track. Eddie is excited to get into a long distance race and gain all the experience he can we look forward to seeing everyone Saturday at our home track!

Race recap from 5/30

Brian and the Robie motorsports team brought us a fast car yet again. Second fastest in practice and we were able to put it on the pole again for a second straight time. With the invert we started 6th. We were able to drive around the outside and make a couple attempts for the lead. As the cautions played out and a red flag the car just got a touch on the free side but we were able to bring it home 4th. We can’t thank everyone who makes this possible for us and all there support.
