The Habit Outdoors second annual “Outdoorsman of the Year” contest will begin on November 4th 2023 and will run for a full calendar year! We had great prizes for our winners last year and expect to be even better this year! Please help us welcome Gavin Koetter to our team as a Mentor!

I was introduced to hunting at a very young age and my passion for chasing waterfowl has grown immensely. I look forward to hunting Minnesota and North Dakota every fall.

I’m also a part time taxidermist doing waterfowl, upland and deer mounts

I’m joining the habit outdoors as a mentor because as a waterfowl hunter I feel it’s my job to get kids introduced to the sport.

We are super excited to have Gavin join our team as a waterfowl guy, I’ve known Gavin a long time and he is one of the best waterfowl hunters in the area, welcome Gavin!
