A heartbreaking reminder to cherish every moment.

Over the weekend, I learned that a former swimmer, Marin, just 17 years old tragically passed away in a car accident. I had the privilege of teaching her to swim when she was just five years old. She was bright, full of energy, and had her whole life ahead of her.

This loss is devastating. And while I don’t share this to bring sadness into your day, I do share it as a quiet reminder to hold your little ones close. Hug them tight. Tell them you love them. Take the silly photo, be patient during the tantrum, laugh a little more at bath time.

We never know what tomorrow holds. But today, we have each other.

My heart is with her family and everyone who loved her.
