Well…another Fourth of July is in the books. And this one wasn’t just any Fourth of July. It was America’s 250th. How cool is that? 🇺🇸
Hopefully everyone still has all their fingers. 😂
And if you have dogs, I hope they handled the fireworks better than mine did.
Now that the holiday weekend is over, I’m willing to bet a lot of Facebook feeds look the same…
• I need to get back on track.
• I ate way too much.
• I’ll start tomorrow.
Here’s the good news… One holiday didn’t ruin your progress.
Just like one workout won’t change your life, one weekend isn’t going to undo months of good decisions.
Ironically, after more than 20 years of training and 12 years of coaching others, I found myself at 46 years old needing to start over too. No Life got busy. Priorities shifted. Before I knew it, I was rebuilding my own habits.
Going through that gave me a whole new appreciation for just how hard starting over can be.
That experience reminded me of something I think a lot of us forget.
Most people don’t need another perfect Monday. They just need a place to begin.
•One walk.
•One workout.
•One better meal.
•Rinse and repeat.
That simple idea changed the way I approached my own fitness…and reminded me why I fell in love with coaching in the first place.
It’s also what inspired me to put together a free Fitness After 40 Starter Guide.
• No gimmicks.
• No detoxes.
• No “lose 20 pounds in 30 days.”
Just practical advice that actually fits real life.
If you’re ready to stop waiting for the “perfect time” and simply begin again… comment START below and I’ll send you the link to grab your free guide.
And if today didn’t go exactly the way you wanted…
That’s okay.
Tomorrow is another chance to begin.
