Did you miss registration for the Fall 2026 Swansboro Soccer season? We still have a limited number of openings on existing teams! 💛🖤

AVAILABLE SPOTS:
⚽ U4: 13 spots
⚽ U6: 6 spots
⚽ Elementary Girls – U11: 9 spots
⚽ Elementary Boys – U11: 22 spots
⚽ Middle School Boys – U14: 17 spots
⚽ Middle School Girls – U14: 16 spots
⚽ High School Co-Ed – U19: 10 spots

🚨 PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING A SPOT

At this point, teams have already been formed and rosters have been assigned. Late registration is strictly based on available roster space and is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

Players registering late will be placed where space is available.

Because rosters are already complete, we cannot accommodate special team requests, including:
• Requests for a specific team
• Requests for a specific coach
• Requests to be placed with friends
• Other team-placement requests

By accepting a late-registration spot, you are agreeing to accept the team placement that is available.

⚽ Investing in Our Coaches = Investing in Our Players! ⚽

A huge thank you to North Carolina Youth Soccer Association for coming out to Swansboro and hosting both the 7v7 and 11v11 coaching licensing courses!

We were able to have 14 coaches from across the area come together for some great hands-on training, continuing to grow their knowledge and bring even more back to their players. At the end of the day, player development is what it’s all about! 💛🖤

🍕🍦 A huge shoutout to Dairy Queen and Michaelangelos Pizza! Because of their support, our SSA coaches were able to attend the training completely free of cost, and our supporting players even got to enjoy a well-earned Blizzard treat after putting in the work!

And speaking of our players…

🌟 The BIGGEST shoutout goes to the 15 players who volunteered their time to come out and help! 🌟

These courses wouldn’t have been nearly as valuable without players on the field allowing our coaches to put what they were learning into practice. You showed up, worked hard, and gave your time to help our coaches become better coaches.

Thank you for helping us improve so we can continue improving for YOU! ⚽💛🖤

This is technically training for the coaches, not the players… but we’re pretty sure everyone will get something out of it! 😉⚽

🚫 No uniform needed!

Our coaches give so much of their time to our players. Come spend a couple of hours on the pitch and help us TEACH THE TEACHERS!

We have a problem—but it is a pretty great problem to have!

We have so many players this season that we are running out of coaches! ⚽💙

I will never complain about having too many players join the SSA family. The incredible registration numbers this season are something we are extremely excited about. However, with that growth comes a few challenges, and right now our biggest challenge is finding enough volunteer coaches to fill every roster.

Some of you may have noticed that you have not yet heard from a coach regarding your child's team. Please know that you haven't missed anything. In some cases, the reason is simply that we do not have a coach for your team yet.

⚽ JOIN THE SSA COACHING TEAM! ⚽

Our Fall season is almost here, and we have a few opportunities for parents and community members to get involved on the sidelines!

We’re looking for Coaches to join several of our recreational teams:

⚽️ U4/U6
💛 U11 Boys
🖤 U11 Girls
💛 U14 Boys
🖤 U14 Girls

You don’t have to be a soccer expert to be a great recreational coach! What matters most is bringing a positive attitude, encouraging the players, and helping create a fun environment where kids can learn and enjoy the game.

SSA provides support and resources to help our volunteer coaches throughout the season. Whether you’ve coached before or this would be your first time, we’d love to have you join us!

🙋 Already have a player in one of these age groups? Coaching is an awesome way to be involved in their season and make a difference for an entire team.

⚽️ SSA REC FAMILIES - GET READY! ⚽️

Registration is officially CLOSED, and we have some exciting news:

🎉 This is our largest recreational soccer season since before COVID! 🎉

We are incredibly excited about the response from our community and can’t wait to see our fields packed with players and families again!

So, what happens next?

Our team is now working behind the scenes to:

⚽ Build teams and balance rosters
⚽ Assign coaches
⚽ Work through team, coach, sibling, and other requests
⚽ Finalize everything needed to get the season underway

Please give us a little time before reaching out about team assignments. We have a LOT of moving pieces, and we want to take the time to get it right. Team information will be shared as soon as everything is finalized.

We’re also excited to officially welcome Pete Coke as SSA’s new Recreation Director!

Coach Pete has years of experience playing and coaching recreational soccer, including several years right here at SSA. His focus is simple: create a positive environment where players can learn, compete, grow, make friends, and most importantly - HAVE FUN!

We’re excited to have him leading our recreational program into what is shaping up to be an incredible season.

We have an exciting update for this week's Monday Night Football. We have a new location and we cannot wait to see everyone there. 💪

Monday Night Football will now be taking place at a brand new venue this week and we think you are going to love it. ⚽

Everything else stays exactly the same. Same great coaching. Same small sided games. Same fun competitive environment. Just a brand new home for Monday Night Football. 🔵🔴
