******To all members. The SCC Club Championship is this weekend. If you haven’t signed up already, please do so by the end of the day tomorrow. We need an accurate count for lunch for both Saturday and Sunday. You must be a member in good standing to play.
Saturday meal 11 am - Subway
Sunday meal 11 am - New company coming to town, Lee Stewart (Trucks R Us) will man the grill and we will be serving Boston Butt, Ribs, Potato Salad, Baked Beans and Green Beans with a sweet treat.
Saturday - you must tee off between the hours of 8am - 2pm. You must play with at least two other members. You may only roll the ball in the fairway no more than one club. A root rule will be in place. However, you must get approval from someone you are playing with to be certain that a root is impeding your swing. Upon approval you may find relief no closer to the hole within a club length. You must putt everything out. Other than the rules above, you must play it where it lies. No exceptions.
***If you have a disagreement with someone on what to do in a situation, go back to the tee box and hit another ball, play both to finish the hole write both scores down and the tournament committee will make a ruling. *****
Sunday - we will flight Saturday’s scores and everyone will tee off at 1 pm. Same rules apply.
If you have rule questions or need anything else, please let the clubhouse know tomorrow and we will try and accommodate.
It’s going to be hot out there this weekend so please hydrate and be prepared.
