GATA 11U boys went down to Waycross yesterday and had a successful day, breezing through their first pool play game with an 11-1 win. After a rough first inning in game 2, the boys battled back from an 8-0 deficit to win it 13-11. Ending up the #3 seed in the gold bracket, the boys fell short in bracket play to a well oiled NBC team. While it didn’t end with some new hardware, it was still a successful day. Solid hitting, pitching, and defense. Proud of these boys and on to the next one!
