It’s that time of year again! RIT is hosting the end of season vert challenge at Swain Mountain!! Swain is 650 vertical feet from base to summit. We will be offering prizes to the top 3 competitors with the most vert! This event is dues free and open to everyone. ( link in bio)

We are proud to finally announce the RIT Alpine Ski Club 2024 End-of-Season Vert challenge and tailgate! Registration is OPEN for the event, so grab your tickets now! We are thrilled to be partnering with Swain, who is offering us an all-day lift ticket to their mountain for only $49 with rentals and lessons included. If you are a new skier, we highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to try out skiing! Furthermore, this is a DUES FREE EVENT! So we encourage everyone to grab your friends, project partners, and roommates and bring them out for some skiing, tailgating, food, prizes, and fun.

What is a vert challenge you may ask? For reference, Swain is 650 vertical feet from base to summit. We are asking competitors to collect pledges per 1,000 vertical feet they ski. We will be having a movie and pizza night this Friday October 27th!! Please fill out the google form before Wednesday by 2-3 if you plan to go. Rides as well as time frame will be announced later during the week.
