Congratulations to Victoria Trueb on receiving her 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu last night!

Victoria has competed extensively throughout her career, winning the Master World Championships at every belt level—an incredible accomplishment. Victoria received her black belt and all of her previous ranks under the legendary Roberto Traven before joining our academy a few years ago.

It has been an absolute pleasure having Victoria as part of our academy and watching her continue to train and represent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at such a high level.

Congratulations, Victoria! Very well deserved! 🥋👏

A huge congratulations to Lincoln Hoskins on earning his first adult rank — BLUE BELT!

Lincoln has been training with us for over 7 years. He started his journey in our kids program, and through all those years, he simply kept showing up, putting in the work, and progressing.

Along the way, Lincoln also took up wrestling to supplement his BJJ training. He continued developing his game on the mats while also growing tremendously as a person.

Today, he has become the kind of training partner every academy is lucky to have — technical, respectful, friendly, and always willing to help make the people around him better.

A blue belt is more than just a new color. It represents years of consistency, growth, and commitment.

Congratulations, Lincoln! We are incredibly proud of you and excited to see where this journey takes you next.

Last night, Amanda Macioce rightfully received her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt, and we couldn’t be more proud!

Amanda has trained at several gyms throughout her journey, but nearly 1.5 years ago she started calling us home —and it has been an absolute pleasure watching her continue to grow, evolve, and push herself.

Her journey is anything but ordinary. A former professional MMA fighter, Amanda stepped away from competition to become a mother, then made her return to competing last year. Since coming back, she has basically done what Amanda does best: win.

Competition after competition. She has consistently stepped up, put herself to the test, and found a way to come out on top.

Now, she gets to add Brown Belt to the list...

And we’re pretty sure the female purple belts everywhere are collectively breathing a sigh of relief!

Jokes aside, this promotion is incredibly well deserved. Amanda has put in the work, embraced the grind, and continues to represent what it means to be a high-level martial artist, competitor, and mother.

You earned every stripe, every win, and every bit of this belt. We’re honored to be part of your journey.

Congratulations to Kijoo Park on earning his Yellow Belt in our MMA inner Acadmey ranking system. We are incredibly proud of Kijoo and all the hard work, dedication, and discipline he has shown along the way.

He is an outstanding student who LITERALLY never misses the Advanced MMA class, always puts in the effort, and continues to learn and improve every day. His commitment and positive attitude are a great example of what it means to be a dedicated martial artist.
