A great night of racing, friendship, and community with our friends from !

One of the best parts of summer swim is seeing swimmers cheer for their teammates, celebrate great races, and encourage friends on both sides of the pool. Many of these swimmers will be future classmates, teammates, and friends throughout the North Gwinnett community.

Thank you, Rivermoore, for a fun and competitive meet. We can’t wait to see you at county!

The energy on deck was ELECTRIC at our first swim meet of the season!! 💙

🥳 Swimmers cheering their friends on.
🏊🏼‍♀️Big time drops.
🌊Heat winner tickets everywhere.
⏱️Parents stepping up to volunteer.
👏🏽Our brand new timer system running in real meet conditions for the very first time.

And… we even surpassed 1000 points!!!

What made tonight special wasn’t just the score — it was the culture. The teamwork. The excitement. The way this team showed up for each other from the first event to the last relay.

So proud of our MVST swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and families. This is just the beginning!!

What a way to kick off the season.

Today’s Time Trial meet was full of HUGE effort, dropped times, nervous first races, loud cheers, and teammates celebrating each other every step of the way. We are so proud of every single swimmer who showed up ready to race, learn, and grow.

And behind every smooth swim meet is an army of incredible volunteers.

Thank you to every parent, coach, timer, bullpen volunteer, setup crew member, concessions helper, computer operator, and family member who gave their time today to make this happen for our swimmers. Community is what makes summer swim so special, and today was the perfect example of that.

And to think, this is just the beginning of the season for MVST!

Hey everyone! We’re looking forward to a great first day of practice today (5/11). Please remember to bring a swimsuit, goggles, and tennis shoes in case we move to dryland.

Also, to help the coaches learn over 180 names as quickly as possible, please write your child’s name on their back or shoulder for practice today. We would really appreciate it!

We understand that May is a busy month, so if you’re unable to make it today or miss a few practices throughout the month, that’s completely okay. The coaches and I are excited to get the season started and can’t wait to see everyone!
