π₯ PLAY MORE. PLAY BETTER. β½ππβΎπΎπ
At Sutton Youth Lacrosse, our board strongly encourages our athletes to play multiple sports throughout the year rather than specializing in just one.
Whether your player is on the field or court playing soccer, football, field hockey, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, or another local sport this fall and winter, we want to cheer them on! π
Why play multiple sports?
π Lower Injury Risk
Different sports challenge the body in different ways and can help reduce repetitive overuse.
π€Έ Better Athletic Development
Different sports build balance, coordination, agility, movement skills, and overall athletic ability.
π₯ Less Burnout
Switching sports keeps things fun, exciting, and fresh throughout the year.
π Long-Term Success
A broad athletic background can help kids become more well-rounded athletes.
π Zero Regrets
Try something new! Kids should have the opportunity to experience different sports, make new friends, and discover what they enjoy.
We donβt want our kids to specialize too earlyβwe want them to PLAY!
π Good luck to all of our Sutton Youth Lacrosse players in your upcoming fall sports seasons! Whether youβre playing soccer, football, field hockey, baseball, or another sport, weβll be cheering you on every step of the way!
Have a blast playing all your fall and winter sports! We canβt wait to see everyone back on the lacrosse field this spring! π₯π
