Cornerstone Bank and Cornerstone Insurance Group invite the community to Baseball Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, July 1, at DLD Park in Sutton, as Sutton hosts Holdrege in Legion Baseball action.

Game times are 5:30 p.m. for the Juniors and 8:00 p.m. for the Seniors.

Fans will receive a free T-shirt and popcorn with paid admission, while supplies last. Join us for an evening of baseball and community spirit as we cheer on our local teams.

We might have been spinning at times in the concession stand but thanks to some great volunteers Saturday and Sunday I think we had quite the grand slam weekend!

Saturday- 13u families, 11u families, Jane, Beth, and Shelia.

Sunday- Jarrod, Derek, Shelia, Scarlet, Briley, and Legion families.

A huge thank you to Monte and DJ for helping haul all the trash out to the dumpster.

The tournament directors have appreciated those that have helped at the gate, with scoring, dragging fields, setting up hydration stations in the dugouts, and so much more.

Monday and Tuesday nights left of the Little 6 League tournament for 11u and 13u.

Wednesday is the Legion jrs last home game of the season. Srs will follow. Come cheer on these boys 1 last time at home!

Our season is wrapping up quickly as the Legion seniors will finish out playing at home July 2, 8, and 16.

Thank you to the volunteers who stepped up to make tonight another successful night at the concessions!
Haven, Lily, Kima, Chloe, Bryce, Grant, Reid, and Ed. Some of you were here all shift, some of you stepped in to get us started, some helped during busy moments. You are all so appreciated!

Due to lack of parent volunteers we are seeking community volunteers. Need 6 volunteers per shift. Must be 12 years old to work in the concessions. Must have some adults for grilling and serving hot foods.

Lots of games this week as we host the Little 6 league tournament for 11u, 13u, and 15u Baseball. Wednesday night will also include some softball and Legion baseball. Come out for supper and enjoy a night at the ball park!
