Aging is inevitable. Muscle loss is mostly preventable. Sarcopenia is the age related progressive loss of muscle mass, strength and function.
It makes everyday activity harder and raises your risk of falls and breaking bones.
Starting in your 30s you begin to lose up to 8% of your muscle mass per decade.
You know the old saying its best to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. Well strength no different, don't get caught stuck on the toilet in your 70s because you didn't want to get caught looking weak in the gym in your 30s and 40s.
Drop the ego, pick up the weights, and become an asset to your family, not a liability.
