Congrats to Lucas Keller and the Keller Family, being named Grand Champion Sussex Cardinals Fans of the Year and team MVP! Courtney Keller was named Cardinals Spouse of the Year, and Sussex Cardinals Future Draft Choice, Grant Keller as the Fan of the Year. Countless times this season, Grant was ready to go on the field to help his Dad! Congrats to Lucas being named team MVP, his stat line was amazing, 8-1 record, only loss a complete game 4-1 loss to the Falls, 76ip, only 21 earned runs, 2.48 ERA, 4 complete games, only 10 walks with a WHIP of 1.08. Lucas is a Sussex Hamilton Graduate, pitched at UW-Platteville, recovered tremendously from a medical issue this year, veteran pitcher for the Cardinals, Sunday Ace.

Congrats to all the Division top players around the league. Sheer Quality Baseball. Land O' Lakes Baseball League just announced the All Lake Country and others All-Division teams. The Cardinals were well represented with Outfielder Curtis Sheahan being named Player of the Year for the Lake Country Division. Add this to his First Team All League honors, quite a season, well deserved. Manager of the Year for the Lake Country Division, Seth Kroenke was named, leading the club to the Grand Championship! Sunday Ace Pitcher, Lucas Keller was honored, along with 1st base Chris Barnes, 2nd base Mike Colosi, and Outfielder Brayden Gorecki named All Lake Country Division Team. Congratulations and well deserved in this Grand Championship year!

Congratulations on the eight players who are on both the 2021 and 2026 Land O' Lakes Baseball League Grand Championship teams: L to R: Chris Barnes, Nick Schreiber, Michael Barnes, Adam Briceland, Seth Kroenke, Lucas Keller, Tim Saskowski, and Brayden Gorecki. Solid, winning bunch. Way to go.

Congrats to all the deserving award winners! An amazing group of high quality, exceptional ball players and baseball people. Excellent. Congrats to the Sussex Cardinals player and assistant manager represented with the league-wide awards:
The Cardinals Chris Barnes was names Land O Lakes Playoffs MVP as pitcher/firstbase, as on Saturday, he was the winning pitcher vs Brookfield Bulldogs, 6ip, 3 Runs, 6 ks, only 5 hits. In the Hartland game, Chris blasted a home run, and in the Grand Championship game vs Genessee, his 3 run bomb in the 8th inning, gave the Cardinals the lead and the game winner. Congrats to #8 on the Playoff MVP award. Michael Barnes, now joins Tim Saskowski as the winner of the Land O Lakes Assistant Manager of the Year Award. Michael filled in admirably when Manager Seth Kroenke was away, along with his rehab on Achilles tendon surgery, unable to play for most of the season. Congrats to #0 on his Land O' Lakes Baseball League award.
