Greetings Tiger Family,
We are delighted to announce the 2023 Sussex Central High School Sports Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on 24 June at 2 PM in the Sussex Central High School auditorium. (21394 Sussex Dr, Sussex, VA 23884).

We ask all attendees and inductees to RSVP with the number of people attending and make payment no later than 10 June.

TIGER PRIDE

Over the last 48 hours, there has been an outpouring of deserved support for our recently selected inductees. There have also been many passionate conversations surrounding qualification and entry into the hall of fame. We love the passion and enthusiasm of our community of Tigers. Your enthusiasm has propelled our Tigers to performances and heights seldom seen by other high school athletic programs.

Our organization started with a two-fold mission to honor past excellence and bring awareness and much-needed resources to the next generation of Tigers. This organization began and continues as an organization comprised of only volunteers.

The nomination and voting process is conducted by current members of the SCHS Hall of Fame. Every current member of the HOF that has paid (his/her) dues is allowed to nominate and vote for Hall of Fame inductees. Each year the committee of current inductees does its best to highlight the vast achievements in athletics Tigers have garnered over the last 60+ years.

We understand that we will not always get it right when considering a body of work containing so much greatness. The Hall of Fame asks for your continued support as we continue working to highlight past achievements and bring attention to resource gaps within our SCHS athletic programs. As always TIGER PRIDE!

Calling out to Central High School Tiger fans. The first football team at CHS has will be recognized at this years Hall of Fame ceremony. There was no team picture taken that year.
