Sword Maintenance:
- Store swords pommel-down (so the tip sticks up). This protects the stabbing tip from breaking off for longer.
- Don't throw, bend, or lean on the swords. This breaks them, and they're hard to come by (and cost time, talent, and money).
- Don't hit inanimate objects. This also breaks swords. They are designed to hit fleshy people, not solid trees.
