Surprise Volleyball Academy Surprise Volleyball Academy is the premier competitive girls volleyball club in NW Phoenix. Surprise Volleyball Academy is volleyball at its best!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered with United States America Volleyball and the Amateur Athletic Union. Founded and based in Surprise, Arizona, SVA is represented by coaches and players who live in the city of Surprise and the surrounding area. SVA is currently in its 10th year and looking toward many more years of offering opportunities for girls and boys from the ages of 7-18.

Our athletes receive quality coaching from our USAV certified coaches, play with other equally-skilled athletes, face top-level competition and have a lot of fun! It takes commitment and discipline to be involved, but the rewards are worth it. The benefits of club volleyball are endless. For serious high school players and players wanting to continue their volleyball career at the collegiate level, club volleyball gives those athletes the opportunity to develop their skills during the off-season. Players benefit from over 100 practice hours with high level coaches, as well as match experience during tournaments. Tournaments also allow players to play in front of college coaches which assists in the recruiting process. If you are interested in our club, please contact our club director.

🏐 2026–27 Arizona Region Membership Registration is here!

It’s time to get ready for the new club season. Each member must renew their Arizona Region membership after September 1st each year in order to try out, attend clinics, or participate with a club during the new season.

✅ Full memberships are required for coaches, officials and players,

Adult membership options are also available for:
• Coaches of junior teams
• Officials, club directors and other adults associated with junior clubs
• Chaperones attending national events
• Adult players
• One-event adult players
• Senior players 40+ attending Open Nationals
• Collegiate players
• Event workers/site directors
• Parent officials helping with junior team officiating assignments

Some adult membership categories require SafeSport Training, a Background Screen and/or additional training before the membership is eligible.

Our team is working behind the scenes to get everything ready for another incredible season. Be sure to mark your calendars with these important dates for Open Houses and Tryouts based on your athlete's age group.

• Girls 14 & Under Tryouts: November 7

16 Attack wrapped up their club season at Summer Soirée with a 5-1 record and a Top 16 finish out of 120 teams. So proud of this group and everything they accomplished this year.
