Kilohana attempted to have Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival's first ever lighted dragon boat races. Some ingenuity, some brave teams, some dedicated team members and volunteers who went along for the ride! The results were super awesome!!
We know there is more we can and will try to do for next year! Thank you to everyone who loved it, and wants to see more!

Happy FRIday! Tonight! Lots of exciting things happening on the Island thanks to the Lake Superior Dragon Boats Festival! Come on out and join the Festivities and support our local Superior Rotary and our Home Team Kilohana Hoe Wa'a- Superior Paddlers !

**They will be lighting-UP the Dragon boats and doing sprint races at 8:30pm this evening! We'll be watching from the water 😎🤩** If you have a boat and would like to watch from the water we suggest paddling and spectating up against the far, mainland shoreline, near the pond entrances. See you out there!

Good luck to all the teams that will be racing tomorrow!
