And that's a wrap, Florida members first official Ogasawara Ryū Yabusame event under the belt.
What an eye-opening and incredible experience it has been.
The schedule was absolutely brutal and certainly not for the faint-hearted. Days started before dawn and often ended close to midnight. Every moment was filled with training, horse care, equipment preparation, ceremony rehearsals, and countless responsibilities behind the scenes.
This experience taught us that passion alone is not enough. You need dedication, resilience, and a willingness to help wherever needed.
If you don't know something, you watch, learn, and do your best. There is always work to be done, and everyone is expected to contribute.
We have come away with a much deeper appreciation for the level of commitment required to preserve and pass on these traditions. The standards are high, the pace is relentless, and the learning never stops.
We are exhausted, humbled, and incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
Thank you to everyone who guided, supported, and encouraged us throughout this journey.

これで私にとって初めての正式な小笠原流流鏑馬行事が無事に終了しました。🏹🐎
本当に多くの学びがあり、目を開かされるような素晴らしい経験となりました。
しかし、その日程は想像以上に厳しく、決して楽なものではありませんでした。毎朝は夜明け前から始まり、夜遅くまで続きます。稽古、馬の世話、馬具の準備、行事の準備やリハーサルなど、常に何かをしている状態でした。
今回の経験を通じて、情熱だけでは足りないことを学びました。必要なのは、努力を続けること、忍耐力、そして必要な時に進んで手伝う姿勢です。分からないことがあれば見て学び、自分にできることを精一杯行います。常にやるべきことがあり、誰もがその一員として貢献することを求められます。
この伝統を守り、次の世代へ受け継いでいくために、どれほど大きな努力と献身が必要なのかを身をもって感じました。求められる基準は高く、ペースは速く、学びに終わりはありません。
心身ともに疲れ切っていますが、それ以上に大きな感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。この貴重な機会を与えてくださり、ご指導、ご支援くださった皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。
さて、まずはゆっくり眠りたいと思います。
